Ordering an appraisal allows you to know the current market value of your property, whether you are planning to sell it yourself or you have an interest in learning the value for other purposes. Keep in mind that if you are purchasing a property and have a need for financing from a bank, the bank will need to order the appraisal.
How long does it take to receive an appraisal?
It generally takes three weeks to receive an appraisal.
Do you perform residential appraisals?
Stephens Appraisal Services does not perform residential appraisals.
How much does it cost to have an appraisal done?
The cost to have an appraisal done varies by the specific job, to include scope of work, complexity of the property, the number of properties being appraised, etc.
What areas do you serve?
Stephens Appraisal Services provides appraisals and brokerage services within North Alabama, to include Madison, Morgan, Marshall, Limestone, Jackson, and Dekalb Counties. Tennessee Counties include Lincoln, and Giles.
How do you deliver the finished appraisal?
Finished appraisal reports are emailed in a PDF file. Hard copies are available, upon request. Confidentiality is very important at Stephens Appraisal Services. Only the client receives a copy of the report, unless directed otherwise by the client.
